Holistic Approach – Individual Assessment

Before any personalized treatment, we focus on a comprehensive evaluation. We combine classical naturopathic methods with complementary approaches based on a holistic understanding of health. The goal is to gain an overview of potential physical or functional imbalances.

Medical History

The medical history forms the foundation of any responsible therapeutic support. Its purpose is to obtain the most comprehensive possible picture of a person’s health status. In this process, both current complaints and past illnesses, treatments, and personal life circumstances are taken into account.

A careful medical history allows possible connections to be recognized, individual stress factors to be understood, and therapeutic measures to be adapted to the patient’s personal situation.

The Anamnesis Consultation

At the beginning of the treatment process, there is a detailed conversation between therapist and patient. During this conversation, the patient describes their current complaints, how they have developed over time, and any possible triggering factors.

Typical topics addressed during the anamnesis consultation include, for example:

  • current complaints and their course over time
  • previous illnesses and surgeries
  • known diagnoses
  • medication use and previous treatments
  • physical strain and accidents
  • lifestyle factors such as physical activity, nutrition, or stress levels

The conversation is not only intended to gather information but also to promote mutual understanding. The patient is given the opportunity to describe their health situation from their personal perspective.

Health History

An individual’s health history can provide important clues to possible connections. For this reason, earlier events are often taken into account, even if they may not appear to be directly related to the current complaint.

These may include, among others:

  • previous injuries or accidents
  • surgeries or hospital stays
  • chronic illnesses
  • family-related health conditions
  • complaints that occurred further in the past

Changes in living conditions, occupational strain, or particular stress situations may also be considered as part of the health history.

Review of Existing Medical Findings

If available, existing medical findings can be taken into consideration. These may include, for example:

  • physician reports
  • laboratory results
  • imaging diagnostics such as X-rays, MRI, or CT scans
  • physiotherapeutic or orthopedic findings

Reviewing such documents can help incorporate previously collected information and contribute to forming a more comprehensive overall picture.

Evaluation of the Information

The information gathered during the consultation, together with any available findings, is reviewed and assessed collectively. The aim is to identify possible connections and to better understand the individual health background.

The evaluation is always carried out with consideration of the patient’s statements as well as the available documentation.

Importance of the Patient’s Participation

An open and as complete as possible description of one’s own health situation significantly supports the quality of the medical history. The more precise the information about symptoms, previous illnesses, and past treatments, the better the individual situation can be assessed.

The patient naturally decides which information they wish to share.

Thermography

We use thermographic imaging as a complementary, indicative method. This technique produces contact-free thermal images that can visualize differences in temperature distribution on the surface of the body. Among other things, these patterns may provide indications of altered circulation or possible inflammatory processes in muscular areas.

In our practice, thermographic assessment is used solely as a supportive orientation within the framework of naturopathic evaluation, particularly in connection with manual applications. The information obtained is always considered in the overall context of the medical history (anamnesis), physical observation, and other naturopathic assessments.

Energy Point Measurement (

Energy Point Measurement (Victor®)

With the Victor® measurement, we assess possible energetic imbalances along so-called meridians based on the concepts of traditional Asian energy theory. This method is based on the idea that certain functional systems of the body may be interconnected through energetic pathways.

The measurement is performed using specific points on the hands and feet. During the procedure, electrical skin resistance is recorded, which within this naturopathic model may be interpreted as indications of possible energetic deviations. In our practice, the measured values are not considered in isolation, but are always evaluated in the overall context of the anamnesis, physical observation, and other naturopathic assessments.

Laboratory Analyses

Depending on the issue at hand, additional laboratory tests may be ordered. These are carried out in cooperation with accredited specialist laboratories. Examples include tests of the microbiome, nutrient status, or exposure levels. We are happy to advise you in an individual consultation on which procedures may be suitable for your specific concerns.

Note

Our treatments are intended as complementary measures and do not replace conventional medical diagnosis or therapy. Please always consult your physician if you have any health concerns.
